Dr Virendra Patil is one of those very rare doctors who is not only good with his diagnosis and treatment but is also a gentle, kind and compassionate person who gives agency to his patients, believes their stories and patiently responds to their queries. I visited Dr Patil for my daughter who was diagnosed with graves disease.He has been treating her for the last six months and I see a tremendous improvement in my daughter's health who had severe anxiety issues. Not just that even i had elevated TSH levels during peri menopause and I was advised thyroid medication by an endocrinologist who insisted that I start medicines immediately. Luckily I consulted Dr Patil who asked me to hold on for amonth before starting medicines and lo behold my TSH levels were back to normal levels within a month. Dr. Virendra is an excellent diabetologist. We were literally struggling with the sugar levels of my mother. But after visiting him, he prescribed appropriate dosage and the levels were in control in a week. Also he monitored her sugar level on daily basis till it was under control. My husband is Doctor; MD MBBS and have diabetes for last 18 years. He was on multiple diabetic drugs with fasting blood sugar of 250 and 500 post lunch. He was on multiple medication almost about 15 tablets a day . In fact He had consulted many MD medicine to control his blood sugar even ready to take insulin.
